Verscholen aan de kust van Gili Air combineert Salim Cottage gezellige cottages, een relaxte bar en een gastvrij restaurant tot één ontspannen toevluchtsoord. Ochtenden beginnen met een zeebries en rustige momenten; avonden vloeien over in lekker eten, koele drankjes en livemuziek onder de sterren. Het is niet zomaar een plek om te verblijven, het is een sfeer waarin je wilt blijven hangen.

Gili Air is van de drie Gili's het dichtst bij Lombok, zonder auto's of motoren. Alleen het geluid van de zee en het geklop van een paardenkar.
